I need to find a site where I can compare my stocks or portfolio with the market (s&p 500, Nasdaq, or Dow) by entering a date range. You would think this feature would be available on Yahoo.
For example:
from 03/01/08 – 06/30/08
Yhoo +8%
S&P -7%
Dow – 9%
Nasdaq -8%

I want to find, for free, or at a reasonable price, a database of historic fundamental stock data for the NYSE and Nasdaq from inception till date. Where can I get this information? I am willing to get raw financial statement data and calculate whatever I need from it. The key is that the data should be SQL queriable.
The best I found was global finance data which charges from 2500$ to 8000$ per year depending on the amount of data. Anything that can top that?
I've created a "personals" personal website that tells much of myself and much of the someone I seek. It has had some visits, but no kind of responces – no postal or e-mail contacts have resulted. Not sure if the target audiance is finding it. How would you market such a site if you had one? I've created accounts at various dating sites, but they won't allow posting such info in a profile. Even if they did allow, I don't think it would help much as I don't get many profile views anyway. Even newspapers won't allow such advertising. I've tried, and those that do allow has generated a disappointingly low number of page/site views. Can anyone suggest better?
Recently, I have noticed alot of white guys dating Asian women. Has anyone else noticed that Asian women are almost becoming like the "new Blondes". Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate Asian beauty, but I think that the recent increase white male/asian female relationships has faddish undertones? Has anyone else observed this?
