I’ve created a “personals” personal website that tells much of myself and much of the someone I seek. It has had some visits, but no kind of responces – no postal or e-mail contacts have resulted. Not sure if the target audiance is finding it. How would you market such a site if you had one? I’ve created accounts at various dating sites, but they won’t allow posting such info in a profile. Even if they did allow, I don’t think it would help much as I don’t get many profile views anyway. Even newspapers won’t allow such advertising. I’ve tried, and those that do allow has generated a disappointingly low number of page/site views. Can anyone suggest better?
I don’t like paid dating sites – But I have tried Tagged and it is a mass meat market – I want something that is a little bit more up market and doesn’t attract people blatantly selling sex…Are there any social or free dating sites that are for professionals. I have also tried facebook and myspace but not impressed…

Anything you want in the web site that others dont have?
Most of the sites are marketing ones that people have to pay for. Is there somewhere else I can get the stats on?
